Source:# 836 WW1 AIF 30Bn. DCM killed in action, attestation shows 2 years 8 months with Aust. Bushmen in Boer War, effects returned to next of kin included 2 South African Medal ribbons.

Bushmen in South African campaign, an engineer aged 35 born in Dubbo NSW next of kin wife in Newcastle, effects included DCM ribbon and 2 S. African Medal ribbons.
