Source:# 1496 Born 1878 and a regular soldier, he was a son of the Hon. Sir Bryan O'LOGHLEN, Premier of Victoria in somewhat turbulent times from 1881 to 1883 and at the time of South African conflict, a barrister and QC with chambers at 446 Little Collins Street and private residence at 56 Barkly Street, St. Kilda. O'LOGHLEN junior had previously served as 547, 3VIB, later promoted to Sergeant. Born St. Kilda, 1879, one of ten children born to Sir Bryan and Ella, nee SEWARD, died of pneumonia at "Coonara" private hospital, St. Kilda Road, Melbourne, 26.6.1920.
