Source:# 968 Boer War 1st Aust Horse (1086 or 1108), Lieut. in 3NSWMR & with 4th Dragoon Guards, WW1 Lieut. 2nd Reinforcements for 1LH wounded in action 7.8.1915 right hand & abdomen by bomb in charge at Pope's post. Stock agent/grazier age 38 in 1914 from Yass and Strathfield NSW, returned to Aust. 17.8.1916.
