FSL’s Wedding 12/06/2004

When Uncle Frank was staying with us

in Canberra, just last year,

the travelling Circus came to town,

and Frank had his idea.

So Frank rolled up and asked if he

might help set up the show.

He got the job and did so well

They wouldn't let him go!

They travelled far, and all around

traversed the eastern States,

until they came to Taree town,

That's where Frank met his fate (sorry, Mate!)

She spied this dashing, handsome man

who went about his job.

A budding romance then began

to bloom amongst the mob.

Now Frank and Sandi found that they

Had many common ways

So much, indeed that they resolved

To share all future days.

The caravanning life they had

Was rich and travelled wide

Their luxuries were very few

But love they couldn't hide.

When Sandi met our own Lo-la

and got on really well,

the family said "Ooh la-la,

Now this is looking swell!"

And now, in Sydney Town they've come

To settle in a home

And knit the bonds of wedded bliss

And not so much to roam.

So Sandi sold her Taree house

And packed her bags to come

and start a life at Lidcombe now

Her new life had begun.

And Frank was making changes, too,

His farming days were done.

This lucky lad has found new love

And never felt so young!

They've seen enough of life apart

To know what's really true.

And now they'll make a brand new start

To do what they must do.

So, friends and family, gather round,

And join with me in pride,

Just charge and raise your glasses now,

to toast the lovely Bride!
