Let's talk about your own line of the family

I believe it is impossible to overestimate the importance of this website as a source of information on the descendants of EDWARD and ELIZABETH FIELD. As the years pass and the family both grows larger and spreads further geographically, its importance as a family resource will increase. Future generations will have an opportunity to discover their genealogical roots and establish a sense of family that they would not have if this record had not been assembled. The beauty of this website is that it serves as a "user friendly" central repository, that is conditionally accessible to all, of the early generations of the family's genealogy record.

It is a belief in the need to maintain this resource, which in a very real sense is the common property of all of EDWARD and ELIZABETH's descendants, that has led me to invest my time in developing and maintaining this website. But I really need and would value your help. This website only exists in its current form because many people have assisted me by generously contributing their knowledge and the results of their research. If your specific line is included, please check it for accuracy and completeness. If you find inaccuracies, or that you have further information than is included, please provide it to me for inclusion. Most importantly, if some generations of your line are missing, please sit down and assemble them for inclusion. On the other hand, if your specific line has not been included as yet and you know something of it, please send it to me for inclusion.

The continuing value of this record is dependent upon it being progressively updated and extended. In its format as a collection of Internet files, it is possible to include all descendants right up to the present time. Please provide any information or corrections you may have, being careful to ensure accuracy and (where possible) indicating the source of the information (for example birth/marriage/death certificates, extractions from registry indexes, family bibles, birthday books, personal knowledge, etc.).
