lian section of the Australian Commonwealth Horse, has not been on active service. He has, however, had considerable experience in volunteer work. For some time he has been in command of the Kandwna company of the Fifth Battalion
Infantry Brigade. Duing the Easter encampment he acted as adjutant on the
Commandant's staff, and gave such satisfaction as to be selected for the command of the force now to go on 'active service.'
