Murray: Queen's South Africa medal and 3 clasps.
URL1: Lieutenants JS SCOTT, of the Perth Infantry, and BO READ, of the Third Battalion, have been placed on the unattached list [c6.1902]. The former was in command of what was known as the Commercial Corps in the city when he was appointed to a subaltern's position with the Fifth Contingent in South Africa. His transfer to a Murchison branch by the banking institution to which be belongs necessitated his relinquishing military work for the present.
