Roe: COWELL FG 2TIB died in South Africa in 1901, not on 1AIF roll (possible confusion with COWELL Henry Lennox).
Source:# 1578 COWELL, Francis Gilbert and COWELL, Henry Lennox were brothers. A third brother, Sydney Lewis COWELL was killed in action at Gallipoli, 15.8.1915, just eight days after Henry.
