group performing on Sunday 25 September 2011, at Government House in
Yarralumla on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin. It was a blustery day
so we moved from the lawns up on to a sheltered porch. A great line-up
of musicians from the Bush Capital Band and the Wedderburn Charming EmusClick for 15 pics: Broadband or Dial-up There is also a 4 minute 59sec YouTube video, taken with a tiny camera that can also take video. A bumpy ride but gives the feeling of a great day. At the very end there is a snippet of the party after the performance at Government House. Too cold for the deck so we are all dancing around the fire in the downstairs family room at Aranda. Bush dancing, Irish Set Dancing, Contra Dancing (in the snippet taken from the end of the set and during one turn out when you reach the end), and old-time couples dances.
