A procedure used with low- to medium-tech computer-controlled security systems, where a specific codeword may be used as absolute identification. When used, the codeword bypasses all other identification circuits, and automatically authorises the presence of the individual concerned.
Primary use of such systems is in the military, where large numbers of individuals may be using the same system.
