A noble takes a hunting party (including the PCs) to his/her private game preserve. While they're away, the commoners revolt. A force of commoners armed with weapons taken from the military heads for the game preserve. The noble party must defend the hunting lodge or a cave where they're holed up, or something similar with hunting rifles and whatever other weapons the PCs (being PCs) smuggled along for the trip -- and their wits.

Opportunities for role-playing abound as whoever has access to commo tries to get help from the military (of dubious reliability), from other world leaders (balkanized world, maybe? be creative), from the Imperium ("sorry, that's a matter of internal governance; we're obligated not to interfere" or "we'd like to help you, but all four Marines stationed here are involved in guarding Imperial facilities (or the starport)"), etc.
