Notes:

Model designations are those used for Australian marketing. Alternative designations were used for production and possibly also for USA marketing - SA30 (SA), SB30 (SA-II), SC30 (SC), SA86 (SE).

The 1994 statistics separate production to Australian Design Rules and to Federal (USA) requirements.

The production tabulated above totals 66,640 vehicles. Most were left-hand-drive models exported to the USA. The Capri was also marketed in smaller volumes in Asia, mainly Hong Kong and Brunei, and a few reached buyers in Europe. Nearly 10,000 right-hand-drive models were sold in Australia, nearly half of those in 1990.

Significant dates (from dealer service microfiche; except # from "Wheels" magazine)

Oct 89: Public introduction of SA Capri. Jun 92: "Clubsprint" (SVP) released.
Sep 90: White folding top option became available. Jul 92: Narrow-header folding top replaces wide-header version.
Nov 90: SA Series II (SB) Capri introduced. Nov 92: SC Barchetta introduced.
Oct 91: "Verde" (SVP) introduced; ADR lighting - front side marker lamps. Aug 93: SE Capri, Barchetta & Clubsprint introduced.
Apr 92: SB Series II (SC) Capri introduced. # 19 May 1994: Last Capri left the production line.
