The Colonial Ball Working Group thanks all who contributed to the success of the 27th Ball:-
Norm Burke and Gwen Burke for being MC and calling the dances
Dave de Santi and Wongawilli for selecting the programme and providing the music
Bruce Lemin for pre-Ball dance workshops that gave new dancers the confidence to thoroughly enjoy the Ball
Trish Crossley and Brian Brodie for welcoming the guests
Mary Martin and Pete West for welcoming and introducing guests, and keeping an eye out for problems
Alan Johnson for once again supplying his famous Gypsy Punch, in even larger quantities this year
Myk Dowling for his photographic coverage
Ann Young for assembling dance cards - not an easy task!
Lyn North and her staff, particularly Tamara, for setting up the Hall and Common Room and catering the supper
Peter Barclay for donating two dinners at King O'Malley's Irish Pub, as lucky dance-card prizes. (One was won by Judy Boyd, the other by Gavin Holmes.)
Ainslie Football Club and ACTTAB for providing pencils to mark dance cards
All the dancers, whose enthusiasm was the key factor in the evening's success
