AFGW-ACT Inc. is a member of the Australian Federation of Graduate Women which, in turn is affiliated with the International Federation of University Women (I.F.U.W.).

AFUW - ACT Prize bursary - Ms Jeannine Baker who is based in Woonona, NSW but enrolled as a PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne, researching the collective experiences of Australian women war correspondents during the Second World War. As the President stated we were able to offer a second bursary to Ms Lynore Geia who is enrolled as a PhD candidate at James Cook University researching child rearing practices from an indigenous perspective.
