At just six years of age, my teacher asked me to stay after school and make a plasticine model. The Hokitika District High School was holding their Centennial Flower Show and she said she wanted to enter my model in the competition. I told her I was too young to enter it. Primer three was not on the list of classes mentioned in the notice. My teacher said she would put my work in a class level where no one would know my class. I created a model of a man fishing. The teacher entered it into the girls open event and I was very surprised to get second place out of all the High School girls.

Provision
I came home late and needed to take a dessert with me to an evening meal we were going to. I looked in the cupboards but there wasn't anything that didn't take more time than I had, to make. I said to God, "What am I going to take for dessert?" A few minutes later a friend came round with an apple pie. It was completely unexpected and out of the blue. I was amazed. The Lord had miraculously provided for me! Over the years God has continued to amaze me with His timely help, time and time again.

Wellbeing
In 2009 I went in and had the third lot of surgery in three years. The surgery went well the surgeon said. He had contoured the bone and correctly repositioned the displaced cushioning disc, which had been pushed firmly down on some fibrous tissue that was impinging the movement of my jaw as a result of the car accidents. I wasn’t itchy as I had been after past opperations, but I was very sleepy. Nurses came in and keep talking to me wanting to know if I was always this sleepy, but I was asleep again. I wasn't tollerating the narcotics very well. That day I awoke and needed medication for the nausea. My balance was not good. That evening I had trouble breathing. I would begin to doze off and suddenly couldn’t breathe. This usually jolted me awake. On one occasion it didn't. About 4 in the morning I was looking down at a dead body. Suddenly I realised that it was my body. It was such a shock as it looked frighteningly ugly and blue around the mouth. Suddenly I heard the word “Wellbeing” pronounced and the right side of my face began to come alive again. Then I was back in my body. I was filled with joy and began praising God. I sensed that there were a lot of people praying for me. I felt so much better.

Amazed

be filled I prepared a bible study and shared what I believed God was saying with the people who came. Part of the message was about how in the beginning God "fattened" up the heavens and the earth making a place that could abundantly satisfy His people. I also shared some of the prophecies about the coming of the Messiah. According to the Scriptures, when the Messiah came there would be an abundance of bread and wine. In the New testament we read how Jesus fulfilled these prophecies. I also wrote a summary and had a card printed with one of my art works on it, which I gave to those who attended.
The following day the IT department that I work for won the staff wine raffles and one of the recipients came to me and gave me his bottle of wine saying, "This is for all the hard work that you do."
That evening I finished work earlier than normal so I thought I would phone my husband and see if he wanted to come home with me (He usually got a ride home with our daughter). He said that he did not have a ride as our daughter was not going home after work, but that he was going to go over to have a drink with his colleagues in their social club venue. I said I would join him. We were given free tickets in the door prize, when we arrived as they were having a "Christmas in July" celebration. When I saw the hamper with the wine bottle sticking out the top I said to God, "Are you going to give us that as well?!!".... and what do you think happened! Yes. We went home with an abundance of wine and fattening food! Afterwards I thought about the summary I had given the group I spoke to, which included the statement' "Prepare to be amazed at what God is about to do." I was amazed! He had given us an abundance of food and wine!
