LOT 23: Powell Crosley was undoubtedly a marketing genius. His designs were similarly clever. The 'book-leaf' capacitor of these early models is a case in point - cheap to make, amazingly effective. Because the one valve model 50 was quickly eclipsed by the popular 51, few survive.
