Description This planetary nebula is relatively bright at magnitude 10.2 and quite easy visually.  It is about 1.7 x 0.6' in size and is sometimes known as the Retina nebula because of its resemblance to images of the retina in the human eye.  The central star which is visible in this image is magnitude 14.7.  Click here for the latest Hubble view (not LRGB)
