Blue = 90 minutes binned 2x2.
Astrodon filters were used.

Description |
NGC
1549 and NGC 1553 (to the lower
right) are two galaxies in
Dorado about 1.3' apart. NGC
1549 is magnitude 9.6 and NGC
1553 is magnitude 10.3. Both are
easily visible in small
telescopes. NGC 1549 is
elliptical (type E0-1) and NGC
1553 is classified as lenticular
(type SA) although both look
similar in the eyepiece.
