Description NGC 6712 is a moderately conspicuous globular cluster at magnitude 8.1 and is about 2.5' across.  Approximately 24' away is the planetary nebula IC 1295 which is about 90" across and magnitude 12.7.  A second much smaller Planetary nebula is visible closer to the centre of the frame.  This is Sanduleak 2-374.
