Description |
A
fairly bright but not often
imaged nebula which is probably
overshadowed by the better known
bubble nebula (NGC 7635) in
neighboring Cassiopeia. It
is about 9' x 6' across and
about 9100 light years
distant. NGC 7538 contains
the largest known protostar,
about 300 times the size of our
solar system and is an active
region of star formation.
