Lucie Alexander

completed her B Mus at the Canberra School of Music at the end of 1992, which included two years at the Kodaly Institute in Kecskemet, Hungary. She has been an active member in the Canberra music scene over the last fifteen years, and has sung with many choirs including Gaudeamus, the Canberra Choral Society, the Oriana Chorale and most recently the Canberra Bach Ensemble.

David Cassat

is a born and bred Canberran. He was born in 1978 and discovered his love for music less than five years later. He composes music for a variety of ensembles and has had many works performed over the years. He has recently been credited with the ability to ruin any piece of music that he hears.

Judith Clingan

used to sing this sort of music in this sort of group 35 years ago. Since then she has been so busy living, composing, teaching, conducting and getting her music published and recorded, that singing has taken a back seat. Lucie's sudden motherhood necessitated her return to the stage for f's inaugural concert.

Crit

started singing with choirs in 19-seventy-something with the Young Music Society - she learned recorder with Stephen Leek. She has sung with various choirs in Canberra (SCUNA, Canberra Children's Choir, Gaudeamus, and others) and other Australian locations.

Timothy Owner

has been singing in various choirs since he can remember. A "graduate" of the Canberra School of Music Primary Music Programme, Timothy is currently training as a trombonist at the Canberra School of Music with Thomas Burge, and is in third year. He has sung as tenor soloist in Canberra Grammar School's production of Messiah and Pergolesi's Magnificat, as well as the evangelist for St John's Choir's production of Schütz's St Matthew Passion. Timothy was also a St Paul's Scholar in 1997. On top of his vocal activities, Timothy has played with the Canberra Symphony Orchestra, Canberrra Chamber Orchestra, as well as various other ensembles. He is assistant conductor for Budget Opera's upcoming production of The Marriage of Figaro.

Helen Thomson

cites as her greatest musical achievement singing with The Song Company, Australia's only full-time professional vocal ensemble; her most recent, solo work for the Canberra Bach ensemble including the highly virtuosic solo cantata Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen. Helen is currently a member of the Australian Chamber Singers, the choir of Our Lady and St Cecilia, and, of course, f, as well as working as a freelance soloist.
