Nanette and Jim Dooley: Condolences to ex-SCUNAE Tony and Gillian Dooley and their families on the death of their mother, Nanette, in April 2004, and their father, Jim, in May 2004. Nanette and Jim hosted numerous memorable SCUNA parties in the late 60s and early 70s, including a "kitchen & handyman tea" for Julian and me. They'll always be remembered among SCUNA members of that time for their kindness and tolerance.

Bryan Dowling died suddenly at Boydtown in April 2004. Condolences to his wife Robin, and his brothers Owen and Ken and their families. Bryan was conductor of MUCS in the early sixties, active in the Intervarsity choral movement, and conductor of SCUNA in 1978. He was well-known to Canberra and Melbourne audiences as a bass soloist. He's sadly missed by his many ex-SCUNA friends.
