The ANU Choral Society augmented by four boy trebles from the Canberra Children's Choir, will give a concert on Saturday at University House consisting almost entirely of 20th-century works.

The Bach motet will be followed by a program of 20th-century works. The society's 10-voice chamber group will sing Samuel Barber's settings of three Irish poems, 'Reincarnations', as well as 'Jesus and the Traders' by the Hungarian composer Zoltan Kodaly.

The main work for the evening will a set of variations, "A Boy Was Born", by Benjamin Britten. It will be sung by the full choir and the four boy singers.
