The ANU Choral Society (SCUNA) is a group of people of varying ages who are interested in singing together. Although it has the blessing and patronage of the University, membership is not restricted to members of the University. Also, entry is not by passing an audition or displaying good sight-reading skills, but is available to all who like to sing.

The philosophy of the present conductor is that there are few pastimes as enjoyable as choral music-making, and that this enjoyment is enhanced by a reasonable commitment to the work involved in achieving good musical standards.

SCUNA meets regularly on Tuesday evenings at 7.30 P.M. at John XXIII Chapel. Further information can be obtained from the President of the Society, John Shepherd (telephone: 664203)
