Oyez is, and has been for a long time, the newsletter of SCUNA. I joined in 1968, and Oyez was well in evidence by then. In those days it was often known as "the official organ of SCUNA". Gilbert denies responsibility. Judith Clingan, one of the founding members, will know when it started - the original Oyez letterhead looks like her work.
Here's a list of the Oyezes I've managed to collect. Scanning them and turning them into web pages has taken a while: I'm working with photocopies of originals which were reproduced from stencils, often onto coloured paper. A couple are handwritten. What takes the most time, however, is writing the notes!

I started out trying to make the web versions look like the originals, while maintaining online accessibility standards. Recently, when I decided to focus on finishing this section of the website, I found my early Oyez pages hard to read. From 1972 on, therefore, I've:
Rather than cause further delay by revising the early pages, I've just gone ahead and added the new ones. Consistency will have to wait! In the course of finishing the Oyezes, I've identified (or, in some cases, re-identified) a need for pages about:
and it would also be nice to have a glossary. All that should keep me busy for another decade or two.
I've taken a nervous approach to the online use of full names, phone numbers and street addresses (apart from committee members, public figures, those who are no longer with us, and those who've given specific permission).
Unless otherwise stated, any notes represent my recollections and are open to debate, addition, correction, etc.
