The first SCUNA sweatshirtThe first SCUNA sweatshirt was issued in 1970 or 1971. It was yellow, with a stylised SCUNA logo on the front. Instead of the full four treble clefs as shown at the head of this page, or the two treble clefs with feet as shown in the photo above, there were two footless treble clefs. I can't remember if the word "SCUNA" appeared below the logo. It was meant to be purple, but came out rather grey. Hartley of Garran Hall would apply a screenprint of Beethoven to the back of SCUNA sweatshirts on request. He would in fact apply a screenprint of Beethoven to anything - see Addendum 2 to Oyez August 1970. The second SCUNA sweatshirtI would welcome details of the creation of the 1976-vintage SCUNA sweatshirts. Subsequent sweatshirts are possibly later than the ambit of this collection |
