the East Timorese, Indonesian, Portuguese, Australian, British, U.S. and
Irish press also regularly appear there, as well as official documents
and statements from the U.N., national governments, and other sources.
(East-timor began as a list server echo of a conference (newsgroup) called
reg.easttimor and is sometimes known by that name.)

sduet is a discussion list on Sustainable
Development in East Timor, providing a forum for networking, discussion,
information sharing and project reporting. This email list grew out of
the Conference on Sustainable Development
held in Dili, in January 2001, and is part of the ongoing efforts of the
'Taskforce on Sustainable Development in East Timor', based at the Research
Centre, at the University of Timor Loro S’ae, Dili, East Timor. This email
list is hosted and moderated by the Northern Territory University, Darwin,
Australia. Updates of the progress of the 'Task Force on Sustainable Development'
will be posted to this list.
