I'd never been to Floriade, although there had been a plan to do so several years ago. Prompted by a discussion with a friend, I finally went this year - first on the Monday of the October long weekend, and then again on the following Sunday. The floral displays were at their best for the first visit, and had faded a bit for the second visit. On both occasions I took the S-1 and the Z3. On the first visit, I took the 17mm and 50mm lenses for the S-1, and on the second visit the 17mm and 22-80mm lenses. All the photos on this page were taken with the S-1, with Kodak Ultra film except for the 818-681 roll which was Kodak HD. The Z3 didn't get much use, except for some shots that were used for a calendar. |

Film scanned with Vuescan and Canon FS4000, tweaked with GIMP.
NB: I think I need to get a monitor calibration tool, as I think I've raised the colour levels a bit to far as a result of of using a different monitor for the processing that is probably not as bright as the one I'm using to prepare this page...
