Source:# 1522 I believe that Charles Benjamin MILLS is buried in the Cairns Martyn Street Cemetery. See URL2. He died in Warhaven (the Cairns RSL homes), death registration 1956/C3096 shows his age as 79.
URL2: Born 1897 died 4.8.1956 in Cairns Qld., buried in Cairns Cemetery Qld., plot Monumental Front Side West, Row AA, Site 7281.
Roe: 1897, if correct, would make him too young for the Boer War 1899-1902 but 1877 fits with age 79 in 1956.
URL3: Charles Benjamin MILLS amongst the Fifth Queensland Contingent leaving on the 'Templemore' from Pinkenba to Capetown 6.3.1901.
