5VMR QSA Roll: PURDY Right Wing, Queen's South Africa medal and 3 clasps (CC OFS & Tvl).
B5179: born 1880 a farmer c/- PO Warburton Vic.
Source:# 852 Warburton gave PURDY a special reception on return and presented him with gold shield-shaped cuff links inscribed for service in VMR, these were subsequently found at the tip in Tongala Vic. and donated to the Warburton RSL in the in mid-1980s, photo.
