URL6: Mr. Peter TOOHEY, and his death is made all the more sad by reason of his brother's death, which took place in South Africa but little over a year ago. Frank TOOHEY went to the war with the Bushmen, there to give his life for the Cause, and now his brother, who was his boon companion and fellow worker while here, has now followed him to the grave. Both were upright and fine young men.
URL7: At Forbes on 2.1.1902 a brother (Gregory) of the late Trooper Peter TOOHEY, who was killed in the Transvaal, was thrown by his horse against a telegraph post, and had his skull badly smashed.
