W MURRAY, performed the ceremony of unveiling the photos of Sergeant-Major GLEESON and Lance Corporal WEEKS, two Bowral soldiers who had met their deaths during the Boer war. ... In memory of Lance-Corporal Richard WEEKS, 2nd New South Wales Mounted Rifles, who was killed at Witbank, South Africa, April 2nd, 1902, whilst on duty. This portrait has been placed here by his late comrades in H Bowral Coy. as a mark of their esteem for him as a man and a soldier.
