URL2: Private E GAY, of the Third New South Wales Bushmen, has died of enteric fever at Ermelo.
Source:# 1550 "Edward GAY" was actually Scotch College boy Edgar Albert GAY, born 14.5.1866 at Collingwood, the son of Thomas Richard and Jane Margaret (nee SMITH) GAY. He attended Scotch College, Melbourne, from 8.2.1881 to 12.1885. The Boroondara Cemetery in Kew lists his name and details - Thomas GAY died 6.6.1908 65 years, also their son Edgar Albert who died serving his country at Ermelo South Africa 26.1.1902 34 years.
