Description |
NGC
3132 is a very bright and well
known planetary nebula in Vela.
The magnitude is 9.87 and the
apparent size is 62 x 43 arc
seconds. The exciting star is
not the prominent one at the
centre but a 16th magnitude
companion 1.7 arc seconds away.
