Description Lynga 7 is an obscure globular cluster in Norma discovered by G Lynga in 1964. It's not particularly faint at magnitude 10.18 but is difficult to see being in a rich star field. It was initially thought to be an open cluster but was definitely identified  as a disk globular in 1993.
