Description |
This
prominent globular cluster was
one of Messier's first
discoveries in 1781. The
apparent magnitude is 7.3 and it
is 10 arcminutes in diameter. M
80 is approximately 32,600 light
years distant and is an easy
visual target for small
telescopes.
