Description |
A
rather strange looking galaxy
with a prominent ring structure
although recent work has shown
that the outer ring is actually
part of an actively star forming
disk with spiral
structure. The apparent
diameter is about 600" and
the estimated distance about 16
million light years. At
magnitude 9 it is quite bright
visually.
