Description |
NGC
1049 is the brightest globular
cluster in the Fornax dwarf
galaxy. Five other fainter
clusters have been identified.
NGC 1049 is 24" across and
has an apparent magnitude of
12.9. One of the other
clusters (Fornax 6) can be seen
to the left
