| Description |
This
globular cluster in Columba is a
comparatively massive one and
may be a stripped dwarf galaxy
nucleus similar to Omega
Centauri. Its apparent magnitude
is 7.3 and it is about 11' in
diameter. The distance is
estimated as 39,500 light years.
