Description |
VdbHa-176
(sometimes called BH176) is a
faint and obscure globular
cluster in Norma once thought to
be an open cluster. Being large
and diffuse it is hard to pick
out from the stellar background
making it a very difficult
object visually. Successful
observations with large
Dobsonians have been reported.
The extinction in this region is
about 2 magnitudes and the
cluster stars are reddened as a
consequence.
