Mixed media is a form of visual art. Assemblages, collages, and sculpture are examples. An assemblage is created on a substrate, with 3D projections.

My art class theme was to make an artist's book. These art works are in the form of a book. Mine was based on a photo I had taken on Mount Gingera. That was of a stunted snow gum, emerging from a rock outcrop. I built upon a deep edge canvas, using various flat and solid materials.
