Source:# 1532 Pte. 148 Jens BENSON 3QIB served in WW1 as James BENSON. Enlisted 5.7.1915 as No. 1 CSM James BENSON A Coy 32Bn. AIF. Commissioned 2Lt 32Bn. 3.7.1916. Wounded on the night 20.7.1916 at Fleurbaix (Fromelles) and went back across no Mans land for treatment he was never seen again. His body has now been recovered and buried in France (2016).
