URL1: returned per 'Orient' arrived Brisbane 16.1.1901 discharged 23.1.1901 to c/- Stn. Master Riverview S&W Railway, remittent fever at Pretoria for 5 weeks 13.10.1900 to 20.11.1900 then invalided via Natal to Durban and Capetown, trace of albumen in urine.
URL4: [At the 36th anniversary of the peace after WW1 in Brisbane in 1938,] Mr. FW TOKELY, placed a wreath on behalf of the pioneers and citizens of Rhodesia. A wreath on behalf of the African War Veterans' Association was placed by the president (Mr. WH Penhaligon). The 'Last Post' was sounded by Bugler J Barnes.
