Source:# 1578 BOYLE, James McKENZIE. born NSW, WW1, 24331, Sergeant, Otago Infantry Regiment, 2nd Battalion, 10th (North Otago) Company, killed in action in Belgium, 12.10.1917, aged 34. His WW1 Attestation suggested he had also served with the New South Wales Royal Artillery and the Moreton Bay Regiment, Queensland.

Otago Regiment NZEF, MM, son of James and Mary Stuart BOYLE; husband of Frances ARBON (formerly BOYLE), of 164, Jackson St., Petone, Wellington NZ., native of NSW Australia. Served in the South African Campaign.
