URL3: Mr. EP TODHUNTER, Mayor of Cowra, and one of the three Coalition (National-Progressive) candidates, for the ?Cootamundra seat at the forthcoming State elections, paid a flying introductory visit to Tumut on Wednesday and Thursday [4-5.3.1925], and, visiting the show, came in contact with quite a number of supporters .... Mr. TODHUNTER served in the S. African war and is president of the local branch of the association representing the warriors of the Boer war. In the ballots for aldermen he topped the poll at last election, and secured every vote at the election of the Hospital Committee.
