Source:# 1353 Frederick Royden CHALMERS, served in World War 1 with 27th Battalion finishing as CO and Lt. Col. DSO 16.12.1917 CMG 3.6.1919 MID 16.3.1919. wounded in action GSW 8.12.1915 and also injured in France in 1917 when his horse fell on him, WW2 executed by Japanese in 1943 after being interned while serving as Administrator of Nauru.
