Source:# 1054 born in 1882 at Alexandria NSW and went at 18 as a Bugler with the Naval Contingent to China. Family has his mother's permission note plus his Naval Contingent hat band and his Queen's South Africa Medal but he gave his bugle to a small museum near Albury NSW. After the war Sidney and his wife lived at Roseberry NSW, he died in 1955 at Prince Henry Hospital Long Bay NSW and was buried in RC section of Botany Cemetery after a full Military Funeral.
