Murray: 2Coy. Tpt. Officer 6.6.1901 previously 1TMI
Source:# 576 born 1877 Glenorchy Tas., photo in uniform. Overwhelmed by the problems of Africa he later went to Sudan as a missionary working for the Slavery Repression Department and was killed by those he had gone to help. He died in his 31st year but his body was never recovered. A memorial service was held in Glenorchy Tas. and his death date given as 1.3.1908. A stained glass window in the Methodist Church, Glenorchy is dedicated to his memory.

and 1 man for Adelaide, and Lieuts. BISDEE and Hallam, of the Tasmanian Bushmen's contingent, for Hobart.
