URL1: The transport Norfolk, one of the neatest, cleanest, and best of the boats that have been engaged in conveying troops to and from South Africa, came to anchor off Largs Ray late on Wednesday night [30.7.1902]. In addition to several hundreds of troops for the eastern States, there were on board the undermentioned South Australians - ARMY MEDICAL CORPS - Sergeant HE ELPHICK, Corporal JB NATION, Corporal AL WORTHINGTON, Privates M BLACKWELL, FW JAMES, EA HIGGS, VR RULE, SJ HOLLYWOOD.
