Oyez is, and has been for a long time, the newsletter of SCUNA. I joined in 1968, and Oyez was well in evidence by then.
In those days it was often known as "the official organ of SCUNA". Gilbert denies responsibility.
Judith Clingan, one of the founding members, will know when it started - the original Oyez letterhead looks like her work.
Here's a list of the Oyezes I've managed to collect, linked to pages with images and transcriptions.
The starting point was photocopies of originals which were reproduced from stencils, often on coloured paper. A couple were handwritten.
If you have any Oyezes (or indeed any other SCUNA documents) from between 1963 and 1988, and you're prepared to share them, please me.
